Jimmy Connors (1972, 74 2 times, 75, 76) had achieved this feat most number of times in five different years. John McEnroe (1981, 83, 84) and Ivan Lendl (1985 2 times,89) done this three times. Björn Borg (1979), Roger Federer (2004) and Rafael Nadal (2008) did this once.
